CHEMICALS

Shingle Care Premium Roof Cleaner Concentrate™

Our Premium Roof Cleaner Concentrate was developed to clean fungus and algae stained asphalt/fiberglass shingle roofs safely, without the use of high-pressure washing, while at the same time, being harmless to plants.  This product is water-based, biodegradable and contains no chlorine bleach, solvents, acids or phosphates.  It is environmentally safe.

The product can also be used for tile and cedar shake roofs as it easily removes weathering, mildew, algae/fungus stains, grease, oil, tree stains and pollen.  Because of its strength and safety characteristics, it can also be used to clean concrete, brick, fences, siding, and wooden decks.  Once diluted and applied, the product lifts and suspends all dirt, algae and fungus from the surface of the roof.  After a dwelling period of 15 minutes, all of the dirt and stains are then rinsed away leaving an absolutely clean roof behind.

Shingle Guard Concentrate™

Shingle Guard™ concentrate is a great product that addresses the roof algae/fungus staining problem from a preventative maintenance perspective.  It is a unique blend of fungicides and polymers and other bonding agents that not only help prevent algae/fungus growth, but also help bond the granules to the shingle each time it is applied.  It can also be applied at the time of cleaning to help bond the granules, which is particularly helpful for older roofs.

It is primarily designed to be re-applied every six months as the integral part of the Shingle Guard™ preventative maintenance service. This Shingle Guard™ service begins six months after the roof has been cleaned.  The Shingle Guard™ service effectively preserves and extends the life of the roof. It is a perfect add-on for just cleaned as well as new roofs.

Shingle Coat™

Shingle Coat™ is a water based, high solids acrylic co-polymer chemical matrix, that, when cured, leaves the roof with a highly flexible rubber type membrane.  It can withstand extreme temperatures as well as thermal shock. Shingle Coat™ will preserve asphalt/fiberglass, wooden shingles, clay or concrete tiles. Shingle Coat™ has a built-in, non-toxic, biocide and forms a bond over the surface, essentially locking the roof in a time capsule.

Shingle Coat™ will bridge hairline cracks, secure loose granule material and prevent “wind uplifting” of shingles.  It is also resistant to salt/sea spray and acid rain.  It is a 100% waterproof seal, but it is also breathable by letting moisture out but not letting moisture in. Shingle Coat™ goes onto the roof milky white and cures to a crystal clear finish in 2 to 4 hours.  Its effectiveness should be 10 years and beyond.

EQUIPMENT

Shingle Care Systems outsources the assembly of the finest in roof cleaning equipment that is specific to the Shingle Care roof cleaning. Shingle Care dealers are not required to purchase their equipment from Shingle Care.  Shingle Care customers can recognize approved Shingle Care equipment by the yellow and green Shingle Care logo on the sides. Shingle Care Systems currently assembles two types of equipment: enclosed trailer and pick-up bed insert.

Enclosed Trailers

Our enclosed trailer is built on a heavy duty 5’ x 8’ steel frame, has interior plywood walls with Line-X coating, and a smooth exterior aluminum finish allowing for the application of our graphics package. It features a torsion axle, 15” wheels and tires, ladder rack and a spare tire. Trailers come in an assortment of colors including white, black, burgundy, gray, beige, dark blue, metallic gray, green and red with the appropriate graphics package. Equipment includes Honda motors and pumps, stainless steel hose reels, chemical and water tanks and the finest heavy-duty hoses to apply and rinse Shingle Care chemicals.

Pick-Up Bed Insert

For those dealers who prefer to have their equipment self-contained on their pick-up, we assemble custom-made roof cleaning equipment bed insert packages. These packages are built on a custom aluminum frame and include many of the same parts as the enclosed trailer. The pick-up bed inserts are portable in nature and can be removed and reinstalled as needed.
